Our students have achieved remarkable success, with standout performances including gold and silver medals in rowing at the Junior Championships, reaching the U15 National cricket final at Lord’s, top finishes in golf, a spot on Team GB for fencing, and a strong showing in the National Youth Junior Bouldering Competition.

Junior Rowing Championships in Canada

Our go to the Paulines and recent leavers who took part in the Junior Rowing Championships in Canada. Alec Wild (OP) was part of the gold-medal-winning men’s eight. Victor Bocquet (Upper Eighth) coxed the women’s eight to a silver medal, and Alp Karadogan, Patrick Wild, and Christian Reese (all Upper Eighth) also took home silver in the men’s four.

U15 National Cricket Final

Fergus de Mestre and Rohan de Silva (both Sixth Form) have reached the U15 National cricket final as part of the Esher team; the final will be played at Lord’s on 15 September.

Golf

Shiv Ahluwalia (Sixth Form) won the European Junior Championship qualifier at The Caversham on 18 August with a one-over-par 73, earning a spot at the 32nd Junior European Open in Cadiz this November. He also placed 3rd at the Maylands Classic and 4th in the 14-15 category at the British Junior Tour European Open in La Touquet.

Fencing

Sasha Georget-Roukline (Upper Eighth) has just been selected for team GB at the FIE satellite event in Amsterdam on 28 September.

National Youth Junior Bouldering Competition 2024

Well done to Aditya Bhimalingam (Sixth Form) who was placed fourth in the National Youth Junior bouldering competition held last Friday.
