PSHE

Top marks will certainly help to give you a good start in life, but PSHE helps a pupil to make the most of them.

PSHE aims to equip pupils with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to make well-informed decisions in order to lead happy, healthy lives, both now and in the future.

Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) education is taught via dedicated PSHE lessons across all year groups at SPJ. PSHE education aims to foster critical engagement with the world inviting boys to explore a wide range of relevant themes including mental health and wellbeing, healthy relationships and economic education. PSHE lessons provide a safe space for boys to discuss topics that matter to them in an age-appropriate way. Boys are encouraged to ask questions and are given the opportunity to hear from a diverse range of perspectives. We work closely with SPS colleagues and regularly host pupils from the Lower Eighth Form who deliver lessons to our oldest pupils.

Both the PSHE policy and Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) policy can be found on the School Policies page of our website.

Clubs and Enrichment

SPJ is proud to offer a vast and varied extracurricular provision. As such, there are a wide range of clubs and enrichment opportunities that link to PSHE, including:

Business Club 鈥 open to Upper Second to Upper Third pupils, providing opportunities to engage with entrepreneurial projects.

Wellbeing and Pastoral Care

Our pupils flourish under the individual attention we offer at 快色视频鈥檚 Juniors, forming close bonds with their fellow pupils, staff and their Form Tutors who guide them through all aspects of daily life.

Volunteering and Service

Working across 快色视频鈥檚 Juniors, 快色视频鈥檚 School and parent groups, the school supports several local charities, especially those that we can help through volunteering as well as fundraising.
